Curious Motion is seeking passionate, creative, and enthusiastic individuals to join our innovative arts and health organisation as voluntary members of our board.

Our board of directors steers our strategic vision, playing a key role in supporting the cultural fabric of Calderdale’s community to create a fairer and more compassionate world.
We are particularly looking to hear from people who live or work in Calderdale and have a background or skills in the following:
- Health and/ or social care (or related fields)
- Community engagement
- Social enterprise
- Finance and fundraising
No previous experience on a board is required, training and support will be provided.
Our community is representative of many different cultures and lived experiences. We regularly work with people from Elland, Rastrick, Halifax, Syria, Sudan, Iraq, South Africa, and Afghanistan. Many of the people we serve also have lived experience with chronic illness, disability, social isolation, fleeing war and persecution, or mental health challenges.
We want to ensure our board more accurately represents our community and so we particularly welcome applications from people who represent the above communities or have similar lived experiences.
