Learning and reflection through dance and creative health.
Shared Practice is Curious Motion’s offer for organisations, practitioners and artists who want to deepen the way they work.
Rooted in dance, community and health-based practice, we create spaces where professional development is not only discussed, but experienced. Spaces where movement sits alongside conversation, reflection is shared, and knowledge is both spoken and felt.
We are interested in how people gather, how they care for one another, and how creative practice can support connection, belonging and wellbeing across diverse settings.
We bring thoughtful structure, embodied practice and open enquiry. We work alongside you — drawing on lived experience, professional knowledge and collective reflection to explore what is needed in your particular context.
Our work may include:
Workshops grounded in dance and embodied facilitation
Reflective practice spaces for teams and practitioners
Mentoring for artists and community facilitators
Creative health consultancy and programme development
Support to embed inclusive, trauma-informed approaches to movement and wellbeing
Each collaboration is unique but always shaped with care and responsiveness.
Dance teaches us to listen — to ourselves, to others and to the space between us. It reminds us that practice is lived, relational and continually evolving.
Shared Practice creates structured time to pause and reflect on how we are working, not only what we are delivering. It offers space to reconnect with values, to notice what is already present, and to consider how care, creativity and responsibility shape everyday practice.
Through movement, dialogue and thoughtful facilitation, we explore how embodied awareness can strengthen communication, inclusion and confidence. We pay attention to how people gather, how safety and trust are built, and how participation can feel meaningful and responsive.
At its heart, Shared Practice supports individuals and teams to develop work that feels sustainable, skilful and grounded in care — learning with one another through shared reflection and enquiry.
Curious about how movement, embodied and creative approaches might support your team, individual practice, or organisation?
We would love to hear from you!
