Wellbeing Walks

Gentle and accessible walks for wellbeing in Elland, with a creative and sensory focus.

Suitable for people who would like a gentle stroll with others.

Fancy a stroll?

Our Wellbeing Walks are gentle and accessible walks; an opportunity to come together with others and enjoy the wonderful benefits to our mood, sleep, and immune system that nature can offer. Walks also involve a gentle creative activity, from photography to reflective prompts.

Everyone is welcome, and the walks are aimed at people looking for a gentle and non-pressured experience.

Led by our fantastic Volunteer Walk Leader, Jim, these are informal and restorative walks to help clear the mind and warm the body. We enjoy a route along the canal for around an hour, and start and finish at Project Colt on Elland Bridge for a brew.

Children are welcome but remain the responsibility of their parent/ carer at all times.

Our walks are free but there is the option to make a donation. Bring some cash on the day or let us know if you’d like to pay by card/online.

To book onto a walk please email us on hello@curiousmotion.org.uk or WhatsApp/message 07599 619785
