She has worked with numerous organisations and institutions, including Yorkshire Dance, More Productions, The Prince’s Trust, NCS, Dance for Life (Bradford), schools across the country, community centres and gyms, Leeds Metropolitan University, New Hall Prison, Everybody Arts, AJ Dance, and NHS mental health wards across Yorkshire.
Sharon is deeply passionate about the transformative benefits of dance – mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually. She takes great joy in helping people engage with and enjoy movement, with a particular focus on bringing together communities of different ages, abilities, and cultural backgrounds.
She trained in dance at Bretton Hall (University of Leeds) and with the London School of Capoeira (Leeds base), and continues her professional development through ongoing training with organisations such as Yorkshire Dance, Vincent Dance Theatre, Richard Alston Dance Company, Dance United, and the NHS.
Sharon joined Curious Motion in 2025, collaborating with our performance group on making and sharing new work.
