Claire enjoys cold water swimming, her eggs poached, cycling, hiking, and being surrounded by the rich tapestry offered by various genres of music and the arts. However, as a mother to a toddler, her theatre experiences have shifted her audience attendance compared to before!
Claire has worked in health and social care for fifteen years, starting as an Occupational Therapist before transitioning into service redesign and improvement. Throughout her career, her focus has always been on holistic, person-centred care and assisting individuals and services in delivering their best with the resources available.
Voluntary organisations now play a significant role in her experiences, and she strongly believes in the importance of collaboration to integrate health and wellbeing, ultimately improving health outcomes for our communities. Claire is particularly passionate about inclusion in health and ensuring that equity is provided, especially to the most vulnerable people in our population. Claire is thrilled to have joined the Curious Motion board and become part of our community.
