Welland Festival

A one-day arts for wellbeing festival in Elland, bringing the community together to connect, express themselves, and get creative.

Welland Festival re-launched in October 2024 as part of CultureDale, Calderdale’s year of culture, and what a day we had! 

The festival includes opportunities to find out about local creative health services and activities, try some taster workshops, and enjoy a variety of performances from our local community. 2024 featured artists and organisations from across the area, including Magpie Movers, Annapurna Indian Dance, Elland Silver Community Band, Stainland, Ripponden and Greetland Community Choir, and our very own inclusive adult performance company!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to celebrate and explore creativity and wellbeing in Elland.

Curious Motion is now working on plans for the future of festival – keep an eye on this page for updates!
