Thanks to the care and creativity of our Curious Motion family, we have launched Calderdale’s very own gallery of mindful videos, incorporating dance and movement. Take a look here www.curiousmotion.org.uk/omms
The collection of One Minute Motion films is free to view and will boost mental wellbeing among the Calderdale community and beyond. And what better day to launch this valuable resource than today; 10th October 2020, World Mental Health Day.
Every one of us is spending less time making memories with our loved ones. It can feel lonely and worrying. The One Minute Motion project reminds us that we are all connected.
Throughout September, wonderful people have submitted their one-minute film creations, supporting the mental health of others. Each piece in the gallery has a unique feel; some are relaxing, others are upbeat. Some focus on the wonder of nature; others celebrate the freedom of music and movement. Each submission is one of a kind, just like the person that made it, and we are thrilled to be able to share it with you.
A minute is all it takes to calm your mind and body. So, instead of using a meditation or mindfulness app on your phone or watch today, why not try something new? Take a look at the One Minute Motions gallery, made with love for the greater good of Calderdale. www.curiousmotion.org.uk/omms
